After yesterdays suggestion I booted from cdrom 2, but that gives the same. Apparantly there is someting fundementaly changes between 6.4 and 7.1 (6.4 is the only version I could succefully boot from floppy disk or cd-rom) I am afraid I have to bug the guys at support. I didn't register my copy yet, hoping the list would give me a clue... Hope they can discover what the problem is. Nevertheless if anyone can come up with another idea, I'd be pleased to know. Thanks for your help. Cheers, -- ---------------------------------------------------- Koos Pol T: +31 20 3116122 Systems Administrator F: +31 20 3116200 Compuware Europe B.V.
