Licq; heard it comes with 7.1 now
I'll second that. I've been using licq for over a year now, and have seen it improve a great deal. It's written by the guy that originally 'decoded' the ICQ message protocols - Graham Roff.

Anyone know of a decent ICQ client for Linux? I use kicq under KDE2, which works, just about. But it leaves a lot to be desired in the UI areas! Such is alpha software. Are there any better ones? Freshmeat brings up a few, but rather than trying them all I thought I'd ask for a recommendation.
