Problems with the Apache 1.3.17 update on SuSE 6.4

Hi, Running SuSE Linux 6.4 I've got severe problems when updating Apache 1.3.12 to version 1.3.17 with apache-1.3.17-0.i386.rpm from the ftp.suse.com:/pub/suse/i386/update/6.4/n1 directory. Apache refuses to start, looking for rc.status which is not on my system. Did I oversee some dependencies (YaST refuses to show any), or is this rpm from a newer distribution using a different startup mechanism to SuSE 6.4 ? Erich
