Ahh, I see, you mean 7 jewel cases, or perhas 3 double sided jewel
cases and one single ... AND keep that corraled in ? what ?? , to ship,
wrapping them in plain brown Butcher paper isn't going to protect them ,
at least not thru US mail, never mindcoming from outside (other mail
systems) This is NOT going to be a tidy bundle and I cane see the jewel
cases getting smashed what w/ all the stamping and whatnot that goes on.
I have imported numersous items in the past, most from reputable
dealers, and you would not believe what happens to a solidly packed
reinforced BOX , let alone stuff in flimsey wrappings.

It would be nice if every shipment of any product could be "custom
tailered" but that requires more people and that means payroll, and that
means , very often, your lifeline Line of credit at teh bank can be
sqeezed , if not cut off entirely if the bank thinks you aren't
responsibley spending their money. Now, If suse were the size of IBM,
even in it's much reduced straits (joke) They could tailer a package for
hobbyists, adn for the guys who cant/dont read, and probably one for
your mum and little sis as well, small companies simply can't until they
have a bottom line that can support such things tehy must figure some
sort of middle of the road set of price points and stick w/ it. NOW, if
the price went UP every time ther was a release , w/ no value added ,
then maybe you have a point. However, I think one major release a year
isn't asking too much, and I dont remember seeing anyone say you HAD to
buy the thing, not even to get whatever updates you thought were worthy.
Can't you get them on download? Has anyone made your devices stop
working when the new release is out? doea you lisence turn to dust , adn
your computer not run at all anymore? IF you can't afford it, dont buy
it, seems to me there's enough ways to get teh stuff you want, how about
nuying a box from someone who has a new full version. I dont think suse
is going to make or break their nut on what we do here. After all there
were 100s of thousands of Warp4 users , who signed petitions and
promises of purchase if IBM would just give us WArp5, and you know what
they thought of it .... IF you want ot move even a little company you
have to give tehm support. Half million dollars to IBM was nothing, to
suse, it might be a bit more, but half mil is a big amount of money to
raise. folks here who used to be warped as well can tell you what makes
a business work isn't just the users , it's a who lot of stuff , and you
and the others just aren't interested in supporting SuSE , so they have
to make money elsewhere.
I am now going to retire from this topic as it has seemed to get more
and more circular. And I do have work to do that isn't quite so
horribley pear shaped . gotta earn my purchase after all <G>
