I do not think they actualy belive that a portion of there loyal users would actualy go elsewhere , Kind of a little arogant towarrds the smaller guy. They seem to be gunning for the enterprise and big corperate customers. There is just no way a small guy can compete with them , so if they continue in that direction , then the smaller guy like mne will have no chioce but to look elsewhere for linux. I mean yes , the set is chock full of goodies , but how meny do you actualy use ! By filling it with so much they can offer the SAME package to a wider audiance. Put when the price creeps up , there comes a piont where you just have to say enough is enough. Even with the upgrade at 50.00 with pro version for 69.99 that only 20 dollars diffrence. To save the 20.00 you loos the manuals and tech suport. If that 49.99 price includes the tech suport then it is a good deal and I will suport it. At 09:21 PM 2/8/2001 -0600, John Ross Hunt wrote:

Is there any chance of it? <G> j/k
A very good chance. I've never done business with a company that encouraged it's customers to use a competitor's product before, but there's always a first time for everything.
