Hi!
1.- I have a problem installing the cd-r samsung sw-208(ide-atapi), i tried to use under linux emulating a scsi device: insmod ide-scsi modprobe ... in /etc/fstab cd-r /dev/hdb autofs 0,0 ri........... mount cd-r at this line linux mount my cd-rom and not mount the cd-r my cdrom is ide-atapi(slave, the hard drive is master) in ide0 cd-r is in ide1
I think the device name changes to something like /dev/sg0 when you use the scsi-emulation module. It is a CD-RW correct? If it's not then I don't think there is any reason to use the scsi-emulation module. -- Mark Hounschell markh@compro.net
