Subject: Problems mit dialup on demand

<DIV></DIV>I am administrator of a little LAN running SuSE linux 6.4 on the server/gateway box and Windows NT in the client side. The clients have an internet connection throught the server and I use dialout on demand throught an ISDN line for connecting people to the internet.

<DIV></DIV>Last day I was surprised when I realize that opened IP connections remain after the browser is closed and nobody is surfing. The problem is that dialout on demand tries to establish further connections in order to "satisfy" requeriments from those opened connections. Consecuently, the line is dialed again, and so on, meaning that if we do not solve this problem the amount of money that I will have to pay to the German telecom will undesirabily increase.

<DIV></DIV>Note that I tried to see if the Windows clients were responsible but I realiced that the problem stays in the server. (The problem stays when I switch off all the clients from the server).
