|1) Tkhough (binary) which I can't run > ./Tkhough complains about |missing file (!)
That's not a binary, it's a shell script. You need to edit that file and change the first few lines, which are:
#!/usr/local/bin/wish -f # config
# lib dir set ht_libdir /home/bri/xhoughtool
In particular, you need to change the "/home/bri/xhoughtool" to wherever you have the stuff installed.
Hmm, I haven't played with this program in a long time, so I just tried it right now on my Linux machine. Here's what I did:
1. had to edit sht_lineserver.c to put exit(0); at the end of main() - need to do this to all of the *_lineserver.c files to have it work properly.
2. Makefile needs to have that -lbsd removed for Linux.
3. make
4. mv *_line bin
5. edit tkhough and change that /home/bri/xhoughtool to my current working directory.
