Subject: printcap / a2ps / custom paper sizez config files
Hi folks,
<p>I want to make some custome paper sizes and what info I have has lead me to
believe that the files to edit and change is /etc/a2ps.cfg under the paper
sizes under deffinition of some menia on define goghstscript pages.
I was going to simply edit the paper pixel sizes and just use the same tags
that way I can still use yast to set the printers up.
Can I also add NEW media types Ie
Medum: ziggy 100 400 #for example ?
If I do this , yast/printer and the apsfiler printcap generation tool
(lprsetup have no nidea that these new paper sizes exist. So that leads me
to beleve that I need to manualy creat them in /printcap
any7 one know of a guide to /etc/printcap how too or something that is
geared to a complete printer newbie ?
I tried the man printcap , and that is way over my head ?
Am I doing this the right way ?
