I've just looked at the installation of Win4Lin and it requires a kernel patch (or special kernel).
Are there any known issues with the source patch on SUSE 6.4?
The kernel patch "worked" but I have to manually change arch/i386/config.in and arch/i386/kernel/apm.c
(The latter was a "bit scarey" as there were additional lines of code in there which I do not understand! Looks like magic hardware cookies.)
When I tried the installation of Win4Lin, I got an rpm conflict from the installation script.
$ sh install-win4lin.sh file /usr/bin/charconv from install of Win4Lin-4.9.2f-1 conflicts with file from package pgp-2.6.3i-140 The Win4Lin package install failed.
Trelos have requested copies of the log files in /var/win4lin; which didn't get created as the rpm failed. Doh!
