I have under blackbox. should be the same under icewm. Put something like this in your .xinitrc case $WINDOWMANAGER in /usr/local/bin/blackbox) export KDEDIR=/opt/kde2 /opt/kde2/bin/kdeinit & ;; esac where you replace /usr/local/bin/blackbox whith the path to icewm. The important thing is that you set the KDEDIR variable. Good luck Anders måndag 30 oktober 2000 10:52 skrev du:
Hi I followed Ben's advice and checked out Konqueror.........and yes...it's nice. However I am having one problem. I don't normally use KDE...I prefer to use Icewm as my window manager. If I try to run Konqueror, from Icewm I receive lots of warnings about missing processes, which I assume are part of the tightly integrated KDE2 environment..
Has anyone managed to successfully run Konqueror from Icewm, and how?
