Luke 4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." (NIV)
Type vncserver . It will set up your default desktop and prompt you for a password. Server needs to be running on the linux side so the client (windows) can see it and vice versa. You will get a vanilla twm, but you can change this in your .vnc folder, or on the client side, do ps ax and kill twm and type kwm & or whatever manager you use on the server side. I think I've told you correctly, but if things go haywire, I will dissavow any knowledge of this mission. ;-) Also, for whatever reason, vncviewer will not work (at least in 7.0) from a happy little desktop shortcut anymore. From a terminal, you'll need to type vncviewer 123.456.789:X and you will be able to type the password and it will work.
