you need to add the glx module to XF86Config - you can do this via SaX (load current config, edit actual config, add module glx) or manually add " Load glx". Check the SDB on using 3D-accel with SuSE, it's all in there.
He says he is using 3.3.6 which does not have support for GLX except through some special servers. The best thing to do is to upgrade to Xfree86-4.01 which you can find on SuSE's website. Then add the "glx" module as hinted above.

Hello Linux folkz, I'm sorry for a stupid question... But how to enable Open GL support in Linux box. I was trying to run ssystem and it gives me this error: "Fatal error in system Open GL GLX extension not supported by display :0" I'm using Matrox G400 Video Card with 32 MB SGRAM under XFree86 3.3.6 if it matters. Could somebody please tell me how to enable Open GL support. Thanks in advance. Alex
