[SLE] Window Sizing under AfterStep

Folks, How does one dynamically re-size an application Window under AfterStep-1.8.1-1? The rim angle brackets at the lower left & right that I used to use are gone under AfterStep-1.8.1-1 (SuSE 7.0). It is not obvious how to reinstall/recapture the feature. There are other problems, like the subordination of the Pager to lie under the application rather than over. Thank you for your attention.
