I've been a die-hard SuSE user since 5.1 and have SuSE running on 6 of my 8 servers. I've recently installed 7.0 on three of my servers and noticed something strange with regards to IPv6. I use xinetd as my superserver but I could never get it working without IPv6 enabled. I had to recompile the sources without IPv6 support in order to get it running. This isn't really a problem, but I wondered how many network proggies in the SuSE distro may have this same problem? As a side note, am I missing the boat on IPv6? My feeling is that this is still a ways off as a replacement for IPv4. Why such prolific use of it in SuSE? Cheers and thanks!
