To whom it may concern, This goes back to all the talk we had when 7 first came out about how to get the crypto version in the US. Some of you who live in Canada ordered it from Amazon.co.uk. Well, I live in Texas, and did order it - it was 47 pounds (60-something dollars) and does indeed have the crypto stuff included, it arrived in about 5 working days. Point being that it does work for US customers to order it from Amazon.co.uk :-) Curiously, I had trouble - I tried to install it before I went to bed last night, and had problems with *dm and lilo. I installed it on /dev/hdd, which I have done with several versions of Linux, and never had trouble before, but I got the obnoxious scrolling 0's and 1's. I wonder why that happened? I haven't had time to investigate further, but if anyone has ideas about the broken lilo or xdm (which I set to be kdm, but that didn't work) I'd like to hear what you have to say. xdm wouldn't let me login, giving "login incorrect!" errors, even though, when I switched to another virtual console I could login just fine.
