Hello I want to compile kernel 2.4-pre9 on my linux box but I don't want to lose all the modules and stuff that come with the standard distro. How can I compile the kernel preserving such features and add some more? Can I save all options of the distro in a file and call the file when compiling the new kernel? Will this procedure give me a hard time? Thanks a lot.
