Hello Alvaro, Thank you for your response. Yes indeed, I set DPMS enabled in SaX2 monitor configuration expert options. But It didn't solve this problem. May be somebody knows another way to solve this issue. I will very appreciate any suggestions. Thanks. Alex On Fri, 06 Oct 2000, Alvaro A. Novo wrote:

Hello Linux folkz, I got a problem with DPMS. When I switched to new XFree86-4.0 server my DPMS in KDE stopped working. Could somebody tell me please what setting and where should I change to enable this very useful feature? Thanks in advance. Alex
I am using 3.3.6, but when I played around with 4.0 I had the same problem. I never successfully solved my problem. Actually, if you search the list archives you will find answers to my problem from SuSE's members. In brief, go through sax2 and in the advance section make sure that DPMS is enabled.
Hope it helps,
