Is this the actual contents of ipchains.conf? the actual content is
cat /etc/ipchains.conf :input ACCEPT :forward DENY :output ACCEPT -A input -s 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 -d 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 6000:6000 -p 6 -j DENY -A input -s ! 192.168.1.3/255.255.255.255 -d 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 139:139 -p 6 -j DENY -A input -s ! 192.168.1.3/255.255.255.255 -d 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 23:23 -p 6 -j DENY -A forward -s 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 -d 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 -j MASQ
but i though giving the output of ipchains -L will be easier to read.
Fair enough. Looks okay, anything in messages? Also, does it magically start working if you manually run the script after reboot? One of my old, tired 486's sometimes needs that. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
