These seem ok. What is HOST, and FROM_HEADER in /etc/rc.config? Did
you change /etc/mail/genericstable and virtusertable?
hostname -f should be mynetmax.net.
Is apache running?

First, thanks for the replies jb & Don. /etc/hosts 127.0.0.1 localhost 192.168.0.1 mynetmax.net netmax #Internet server 192.168.0.3 linuxbox.net linuxbox #SuSE 7.0 Samba 192.168.0.8 bizibox2.net bizibox2 #Win98
/etc/resolv.conf
search mynetmax.net navix.net nameserver 192.168.0.1 nameserver 207.91.5.20 #this is my dial-up ISP
/etc/resolv.conf SuSEconfig
search localhost mynetmax.net navix.net linuxbox.net nameserver 127.0.0.1 nameserver 192.168.0.1 nameserver 207.91.5.20 nameserver 192.168.0.3
As you can see there is no entry for localhost.com. Also last night I took the machine names out of the server and changed all the machines names back to as they were in 6.4........no difference. This is why I am confused. I did notice while posting this that I do not have my ISP listed in /etc/hosts. I don't recall doing this before, but it is one more thing I can try. So this is basically what I have. Somethin's screwy. Appreciate the help. Tom

Post what is in /etc/hosts, and resolv files.
There should be "localhost" but not "localhost.com".
It's looking for a non-local name.
