Hi,
This may seem extremely trivial but if I shut my system down using "sdhutown -h 0" then the system power will be switched off automatically.
If I select Shutdown at the graphical kdm login then all I get is Run Level 0 has been reached and power stays on.
Is there a shell script I can edit to get the KDM side to do a shutdown with power going off also, my searches through my system don't point me towards an existing shell script.
As root, go through the Panel Control - Login Manager and change the command: /sbin/halt to /sbin/shutdown -h 0 Hope it helps.
