[SLE] Do alsa drrivers work with kscd?

Hello Since I've installed linux for the first time, my cd doesn't play stereo (suing kscd), so I decided to install other sound drivers and stuff. I tried oss (but I don't pay a dimme for software) and then asla. I managed to install alsa and get my cd playing stereo with aslsaplayer (even though returns ALSA: underrun. resetting channel every 5 seconds and "jumps" when I do anything on the computer). However my kscd is mute. What do I need to get kscd working again? Thanks a lot.
