Which are recommended?

I would go SCSI, and DLT, DAT, or Ecrix's VXA. I'm very tempted to try out a VXA-1, they have 12/24 GB, 20/40 GB, or 33/66 Gig tapes.
I have a few machines so was thinking of an external parallel port device. My main machine has 15 G on SCSI drives, the other 5 machines are all smaller. I'm using both internal ports on the 2940 card so I can't use the external port. I've also used the 5.25" bays on the main machine.
Are you sure can't use the external? I thought the 2940 is just limited by the number of devices? My setup is 3 computers, networked, an external SCSI DDS2 4/8 GB, 15 GB HD on the computer with the tape drive, I backup the 2 computers to the main computer, and then back it up to tape. Jaz media is way too expensive and small, and I gave up on parallel stuff and current Travan and QIC tape drives.
