I have a MS Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick that can be connected either to a gameport or USB. Right now mine is connected to my USB hub. I've never tried to use the joystick in Linux for the simple reason I don't have any Linux games that need one! But now I'm thinking of getting Terminus, the new space sim, so I need to make sure the joystick works. I know that there is now USB support for this joystick in Linux ( see http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/ http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/ ), but I don't know if this made it into SuSE 6.4 or not. Anybody know? I have searched the SuSE site, but haven't been able to find any info. If it is supported, what do I need to do to set it up (kernel parameters, modules,...?).
