I've just downloaded Netscape 4.75 (for Linux 2.2, English version, 128 bits). When I installed it and started it up, I very soon got a "Bus error" message and the program died. Has anyone else seen this problem? Solved it?
Alas, I'm sending this message using Netscape under Win98.

I'd the same problem with Netscape 4.74. I've deleted all the files in my home (./netscape), then launched Netscape, as if it was the 1st time i've used it, ant all worked fine! Hope it'll help!
It did help - but there's a less destructive way to solve the problem, now that you pointed me in the right direction. I just deleted the cache subdirectory and all was well! That way I kept my bookmarks, preferences, etc. Paul Abrahams -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
