Hello I was wondering whether someone could tell me how to save all speeches recorded in tapes to CDs using linux (cdrecord). As newbie on this matter I would be most grateful if you could send me detailed information.
Many thanks
Ed
There is a tool (will be on 7.0) called gramofile http://panic.et.tudelft.nl/~costar/gramofile/ designed to record via soundcard to *.wav files, usually for vynyl records, but it will of course work with any audio source. There must be a similar thread two to three month ago when I asked.. ;-) I ended up playing with it, works good, you need some means for audio filtering since records are mixed so differently. I am still experementing. Juergen
