For anyone interested, I found the problem--- the server name in the httpd.conf file had to be 192.168.0.1, not temp.webfun. I'm still searching for how to activate the cgi-bin in home directories if any knows that clue. :-)
HI, I have 6.4 setup on a machine that I want to give access to users in their /home directories.
I have uncommented the appropriate sections for "public_html" in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf; but I get an error " unable to locate server temp.webfun".
This is on my intranet. I can get the main apache directory just fine with "http://192.168.0.1"; but if I try http://192.168.0.1/~zentara, the error comes up.
