[SLE] Hardware/Software Benchmarks for Linux system?

Hello Linux folks, Does somebody know if there any good hardware/software benchmarks that can be ran on Linux systems? I need to compare hardware and software performance of the same Intel processor based workstation under Winblows 2000 and Linux. Thank you in advance for any thoughts.
