Thanks all who replied. I've managed to find out the problem.
Using "top" and " cat /proc/meminfo" i found out that Linux is only
detecting 13 Mb out of my 128mb RAM. It was working fine before i.e
detecting whole 128mbs' of RAM and working fast. I have no idea what has
happened due to which its only detecting 13Mb.
Currently I'm using mem=128mb at lilo prompt to use all of 128 mb ram.
Any idea what has caused the problem? RAM is working alright in other OSs..
and Didnt' change any config.. Nothing was changed in BIOS either.
Anyone?
TIA
Mustafa

Hi,
I'm using Suse 6.2 on a P2-350. Few days ago my system suddenly became slow. Commands start to take more time to execute, starting X-server became slow and once it was loaded, everything I did in there was takin too much time to load. I had earlier installed Xserver 4.0 downloaded from Suse site for Suse6.2 . It installed and worked fine. But now I have this problem. I don't recall downing anything to system installing/adding/changing config etc before the system went snail :( Can anyone tell me what could be the problem here?
TIA Mustafa
Could it be you swap area is full? You can check this by using top, or by invocing the free command.
