Just curious as to whether anyone else has had this problem:
If KDE and apps are running beyond the midnight hour (when Cron maintenance
takes place), and exiting of KDE/X occurs after midnight and also after Cron
maintenance has been completed, KDE will fail to exit correctly, therefore
requiring a CTRL-ALT-BKSPACE.
I've had this occur on numerous occasions and have come to the conclusion that
KDE must leave important temporary files in /tmp that get cleared out during
Cron maintenance, and therefore doesn't know how to correctly shut down.
Does anyone else have any insight on this matter?
