Doesn't WP8 use Winelib too? And if not, it probably has some proprietary library similar to it - unless you really believe Corel wrote WP8 from scratch for Linux.
I may be wrong but I believe it was ported to UNIX long
before winelib
existed and was subsequently ported to Linux. WP8 works nice and snappy for me.
WPO2000 is a wine/winelib base program based on a coommon code base and is no longer based on the unix version of wp according to there websight some where.
Yes, I know, that is why I'm trying to stick with WP8 for as long as possible. It works great and I don't need MS Word compatability so I don't care if it converts well or not.
