I am trying to install 6.4 from a hard disk on my home PC (pentium 200). The boot disk hda1 is a removable 3.2 GB IDE disk with 6.3, the complete source tree for 6.4 is on a 8 GB partition (hdb3). The same source tree has been used to install 6.4 via ftp on my job, so it should be okay. Yast 1.03 finds the 6.4 source, but of course complains that Yast 1.05 is need for this installation medium. However, if I boot from a diskette with a 6.4 boot image I get the installation screen, but after choosing hard disk as the installation medium Yast 1.05 gives an error message "Cannot find the image!" I've tried different variations for the source path, but can't get Yast to install 6.4. And because I want to install 6.4 on a separate removable hard disk without loosing my 6.3 installation I need to get the installation via boot diskette running. I couldn't find solutions in the 6.4 installation manual or in the list archieve. Any help or hints would be much appreciated.
