I can't seem to get xcdroast to work correctly. The burning always aborts, with an error message (see below). I would appreciate any help.

I had a combination of problems, first a set of bad CD's and to add more grief to it, I tried the dummy mode, that failed for the same reasons. However, when I tried the dummy / simulation mode, I had a broken CD in the drive, since it didn't matter. After a few griefful days, I learned that it realy *does* matters, even in simulation mode for unknown reasons. Try simulation mode with a *new* CD in the drive. Further problems were that I slightly overclocked my system -I set that back to normal-, but doubt it was the cause. I recon reading works well, as it did in my case...
