Hmmm, works fine for me. I do not find it performs poorly.
It (wpo2000) runs , but is on the slow side , and needs the custom install and setup scripts , you may be happier with applixware which runs better and is a natice linux app , especialy if you have lower end hardware. applixware also handles sql so you can use it with an sql server ie msql or postgress. I have not used core wp0 2000 extensively , just breiflu used WP and Paradox so you millage may vary. After using applixware , I am now inclined to remove wpo2000 , Now if I can get applixware set up to use postgres ( I havent gooten to it yet) Applixware 5 has something on the box about it inclduding a postgress driver. The data section will be what puts it over the top.
And you are the first SuSE user to say that it works fine. If I hear a few other SuSErs endorse it I may consider buying it. Until then I will stick with WP 8, a product actually ported to Linux.
