Hi, -----Original Message----- From: Mike Kenzie [SMTP:KenzieM@sympatico.ca] Sent: Friday, June 09, 2000 12:05 PM
you mention keeping an extra copy of System.map but I don't see it in the lilo.conf that you included. How do you specify that the system.map is different with each kernel?
In my /boot I have vmlinuz, vmlinuz.old and vmlinuz.suse. IIRC (I'm not at my linux box right now) there is also System.map, System.old and System.suse. It could be that I named them System.map.old etc. but will check later.
Can the image= point to a link?
Never tried it, not going to either. Tim -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
