Hi all, a strange problem has just started with my email server, and only with my mail account!! I use fetchmail to retrieve, piped through procmail, and sendmail for sending. Outlook97 tries to pop in for the email and fails with: A message could not be delivered. Make sure there is sufficient memory and disk space and that the message store is accessible, then try again. I look in /var/spool/mail/doddg and I have mail, there are no errors in /var/log/messages and /var/log/maillog, but I cannot retrieve the mail. If I mv my mail file somewhere else then cat it through formail and skip the 1st message (internal message) it still fails, but if I mv the mail file and wait for incoming mail to be delivered then I can receive mail normally - and it will work for the rest of the day...... I suspect the internal message is somehow getting corrupted, but I don't know how or why. All other users have no problems, but there mail volume is low. This problem has only appeared in the last few days and I haven't made any changes to the mail server in months. Anyone come across this problem before ? Graham ---------------------- Graham K.
