Hello bernie, on Monday, May 29, 2000 at 13:57:40 +0800, you sat in front of your keyboard and wrote:
=?iso-8859-1?Q?Jean-Fran=E7ois_Bocquet_=3Ctns01=40free=2Efr=3E?=@free.fr tapped away at the keyboard with:
i have SuSe6.4 and every night some job kicks of the ManPath command, this in turn ends up hogging all resources until i kill the process
i have checked every conceivable cron directory and script, yet i can seem to find out where or what is making this run
Another one bites the dust...
The problem lies in the /etc/manpath.config. Edit this file and comment or remove the lines begining with MANDATORY_MANPATH wich makes reference to some directories that are not on your system.
If somebody from SuSE is reading this; may I humbly suggest that SuSEconfig should be taking care of that?
