HI all,
I have just installed XFree 4.0 and had to discover, that sax2 shows no affection for my Logitech wheelmouse(ps/2). Installing a serial mouse and removing the ps2 mouse removed any complaints by sax2. It installed my Voodoo3 2000 and an Ati mach64VT, which both work fine, and the serial mouse. After hand-inserting the ps2 mouse with the correct imps/2 protocoll, startx produced 2 screens, and *One* Pointer being controlled by 2 mice.
The Problem now is ,that, whenever I start sax2 with the ps/2 plugged in, sax will refuse to use any one of my 2 mice, even when i tell it to import my (working) Config. This results in me not being able to access some option further down in the windows, that have a scrollbar, since the scrollbars cannot? be used with the keyboard.
After exiting sax2, X and both mice work fine again.
I've been having the same problem with the ms-intellimouse and found that if I give call sax2 like "sax2 -n /dev/psaux -i IMPS/2" that all works just like it's supposed to. May it will work for the logitech too.
Sorry I made a typo. "sax2 -n /dev/psaux -t IMPS/2" Mark Hounschell dmarkh@cfl.rr.com -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
