1/ have you addes mem=24m to lilo via yast ? 2/ does the bios/motherboard suport that much ram? 3/ are they the same type and speed or faster than whats in the box ? No one is the most likely and first I would try. At 05:20 PM 5/19/2000 -0700, j b wrote:
I had an 8M RAM 486DX2/50, upgraded to 32M, and it runs 1/3rd as fast as before!
I took out 16M, and it runs fine. I added back 8M (total 24M) and it does not see the extra 8M.
What should I do to get better performance?
