[SLE] seg fault and web management

Hi, can anyone help? I'm new to linux and have come across my first segmentation fault. What is it and what can one do about them. This has occurred inthe weex program that I had recently used to re-launch my site. Has anyone got any suggestions for a program which will upload altered pages and ignore certain directories on the server etc etc?
