What's going wrong? Is gtkinter the same as tkinter or not? How do I get tkinter, i.e. which Suse package is it in?
This same question was just answered a day or two ago. Gtkinter is not Tkinter at all (it has something to do with GTK). You need to install either the tkinter package or PIL (the Python Imaging Library), which is package pyimglib. Either will work fine.
