I read somewhere recently that this card wasn't supported. But I looked at the hardware database on www.linux.com and found that it was. See: http://www.linux.com/hardware/hdb.phtml?id=15 Now I'm not sure what to think. Maybe you need to upgrade your kernel to 2.2.14 or .15? You could ask on the linux hardware newsgroup if no one on here knows.
Does anyone have this card working with either the alsa drivers or OSS? I'm running 6.3, and depending on which way I go about it, I have problems. Either I get a "device busy" with Alsa, or I get a "you need symbols compiled in your kernel" (which is a stock from the CD kernel to boot). Anyone have any idea's? The Alsa documentation says that this card doesn't work with them, but there has to be something to do, it's too common of a card to not have a workaround for it. Thanks in advance.
