After installing a clean install of 6.4 on a Dell Latitude CPt C333GT, I have found that the machine hangs upon reboot (not boot) with the last message being: "PCMCIA: using scheme: SuSE". The last successful operation is "Configuring serial ports (newline) ttyS0 at 0x03f8(irq=4) is a 16550A" with the green "done" out to the side. SuSE gives a red "failed" or a green "done" on the right side of the console as the machine is booting. This error I am seeing only happens on a warm reboot with or without a PCMCIA card inserted in the laptop. I did not experience this under 6.1 or after upgrading to 6.2. Using 2.2.14 with APM, PCMCIA, and USB modules but no SCSI. Any ideas on why this would happen? It is quite annoying! Thanks for your help!
