Hello, I use Star Office in SuSE 6.3 . We have created a table in Excel with 25 columns in different languages. I saved the file as Excel 95 and pulled up question marks "?????" for some languages like Cyrillic, German, etc when I tried opening in Star Office.
I do not think anything is happening to the data its is just the language problems I would guess. I had the same thing with the Turkish characters. I ended with using Applixware. More flexibity. You can use the true type fonts thru its fontastic font server in any language display them print them on paper. Convert from Excel Word viceversa no problem.
