Howdy
I got a Dell notebook at the weekend. It's got a Maestro sound card in it, which informed documentation says works under Linux. Redhat, apparently, auto detects it. I have SuSE-6.3, which doesn't seem to want to play with it. Anyone know what I have to do to make it work?
I use a Toshiba 4060XCDT at work with linux on it (SuSE 6.3). It uses a maestro soundcard. I'm using the maestro drivers found at: http://people.redhat.com/zab/maestro/ Check out: http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/ for some your specific model. I think the new alsa stuff should also work. Haven't tried it though.
