Well Bill, this was discussed many times. Some people need this for sorting, other like to see it to know it's important ;-) and ... ... we started with [S.u.S.E.-Linux-e] in the beginning, negotiated to [SuSE-Linux-e] and, after the Oackland people took the list over we quickly switched to [SLE]. Again, it's a help in my "Tips" folder to see were I got it from.
