Up until now I've been using sendmail to collect my email from my SMTP enabled ISP. It works great: there's two of us using the machine and when either of us logs on to the net, all the email downloads. Sadly, the SMTP enabled ISP is one I have to pay for, and I want to switch to a free one which doesn't use SMTP. For the transition period, I need a mechanism which allows me to connect to one ISP and download my email from my original ISP. What I want is a program which I can put in maybe my ip-up script which connects to the original ISP (via POP3 or whatever else they support), downloads *all* the email, then shoves it into my localhost sendmail system. This way receiving email looks just the same as before. Is it possible to set up such a system, and if so, what software do I need to configure?
