Your posting describes my problem exactly. Found the posting by searching for 'tulip'. Could not find a response. Did you resolve your problem? Can you tell me how?
Hi Bill, I lost the email of the original poster, so if you could get it to them.... I have a linksys tulip-based card. You have to use whatever software-based configuration tool it came with and tell it the speed manually. Also, if there is anything related to Windoze, you need to turn it off. Then I just compiled the driver as a module and configured it using yast. You can also just uncomment the lines in /etc/modules.conf pertaining to the card, but remember to run SuSEconfig afterwards.
