Hi! I have just made a clean install of SuSE 6.2 on my laptop. When trying to upload some files to it via ftp I found out that proftpd does not allow it :(( I allways got error saying this: ncftp /home/neonatus > mkdir test MKD test failed; [test: Permission denied] Could not mkdir test: server said: test: Permission denied (this has happened while using a valid username and password and as you can see I couldn't create a directory in my own homedir :( ) Does anyone know what do I have to change in /etc/proftpd.conf to allow ordinary users to write into their ~ directories (and the subdirectories)? I read the docs on their homesite, I read the FAQ, but there was nothing about regular user settings, just some anonymous stuff.. which I dont use. THX in advance!
