My host name is "adsl-63-194-251-2.dsl.lsan03.pacbell.net" [a blatant ploy by PacBell to get me to cough up the $70 for a domain name if you ask me ;) ], but when sendmail sends out my mail it puts "@adsl-63-194-251-2.pacbell.net" in places like the from and message-id fields.
How do I get sendmail to use the correct name?
Using yast under System Administration > Change Configuration File or editing /etc/rc.config you would set FROM_HEADER=pacbell.net or whatever you wanted it to be. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
